Tim Rutten is a veteran journalist whose commentary, criticism and reporting have appeared in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Economist, New York Review of Books, LA News Group and Los Angeles Times. He has been a frequent guest analyst on National Public Radio, CNN and BBC International. With the late Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. he was coauthor of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller, “Journey to Justice.” He was a member of two LA Times teams that received the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of breaking news and is a recipient of the ADL’s Hubert Humphrey Award and the ACLU’s Defender of the First Amendment Award.
